Well, if he opted to burn clothes instead of shooting them, that signals to me that he brought himself from the brink and channeled his rage into something less violent and destructive than murder.
Psychopaths don't tend to have those kinds of filters. |

This is a little different from your standard teacher-Fing-her-student issue. To me, a kid that goes to live with a couple, and where the 'wife' is not repulsive, and offers the kid a few 'side-benefits', you can't really blame the kid for taking her up on the offer. This sort of thing always baffles me. I don't know many men who, if their wife asked for more frequent sex, wouldn't be more than willing to go for it.

From her picture, no.
But she IS sensual. They were using "candles and oils."

Wanting to pull a gun and actually doing it are totally different things. I couldn't blame a guy for seeing his wife and some punk kid and wanting to get his gun, but I agree with Fly, actually doing it is pretty scary. Between his hot temper and her affinity for minors, I'd say the two deserve each other. What a mess.

Psycopathic is probably the wrong word. Inexcusable, sure. Irrational, absolutely.

Pulling a gun in that situation is psychopathIC. The fact that he burned their clothes may demonstrate that he is not a psychopath but it does not classify his gun brandishing behavior as non-psycopathic.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but while probably not the right thing to do, pulling a gun in this situation is understandable. Shooting it is another matter, but brandishing it is not inexcusable. The judge should give him a slap on the wrist. |
