Kind of like the Mavs?

It I am not mistaken the Mavs are a better team after Nash left than with Nash.

I dont think Nash would have made it under Avery Johnson, Avery asks his players to play defense.

I also reluctantly think that the Spurs will get their 4th title in the past decade.

Their defense is just too good. They can pretty much shut down anyone at will.

Carlos Boozer has had his way with Yao and with smallish Golden State, but it's a different story going up against Tim Duncan, who in my opinion, might be the most underappreciated star in NBA history.

I agree. Duncan is just too much for Boozer to overcome on both ends of the floor. I'm not a Duncan fan, but his little fall away from either block is a beautiful move and impossible to stop. He uses the glass better than anyone I can think of. And his defense is is so tough because of his size. Dude's arms make him seem like he's closer to 8 feet tall.

Yeah the amazing thing about Duncan is how long he is eventhough he is 7ft tall. He still amazes me with his length. He is also one of the only shot blockers i have seen that goes up with both hands. I think that makes him so effective is he can still get plenty of lift with both hands in the air.
