I've never read a science fiction novel - at least not that I know of.

I can see that I need to expand my reading from almost exclusively biographies and historical texts.

Does "SpongeBob: Lost in Time: A Medieval Adventure" count?

GOts to be Dune. I read them all, including a couple by his money-grubbing kid (which shows you what I thought about his books) and none are as good as the first one.

Some poeple put ealry VOnnegut into the sci-fi category, and Cat's cradle and Slaughterhouse 5 are very good. I do not think they are actually sci-fi, however.

Heinlein and Bradbury also put out some pretty good stuff. If you had to pick one, however, make it Dune.

So, you're saying I should read Dune?

Is this the book on which the movie with Sting was based?

Got it. That would explain why I found the movie hard to watch so many years ago.

I'm going to have to spend less time online to read the books I ought to read.

Dang. I like wasting my time being unproductive.

I've read very few Sci Fi books. I read Handmaid's Tale when I was a teenager and I remember liking it, though I remember very little about it now.

What about Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

And sorry Babs, I suffered through Canticle for Leibowitz in college. If only it was as cool as Annie (Leibowitz that is).
