I think anybody who can only earn 100K shouldn't be president. You need to be able to be successful in order to deserve to be President. That doesn't mean you should be worth 100 million, but if you struggle to earn 100K at the peak of your earning power, then you're not very successful. We have elementary school principals here who earn much more than that.

I don't think Clinton was particularly wealthy when he ran for President. George W. Bush was a non-self-made wealthy guy. Same with his dad. Were Carter, Nixon, and Johnson wealthy? I don't know. |

Huckabee wears his jealousy for Romney on his sleeve. It bothers him that a cultist should do so well in this earthly domain. Well at least he calms himself to sleep each night knowing that Mitt will burn in hell for eternity. That surely must put a smile on his face.

Mike, the personal rancor reflected in that remark I don't intend to dignify with comment. But I would like to address your general attitude of hopeless negativism. Consider the lilies of the g****** field or... hell! Take at look at Archaea here as your paradigm of hope.

The criticism of Huck's speaking engagement has been minor and nonexistent by any Republicans on this board. He has been deservedly criticized for taking over 100K of gifts in one year of his governorship and declaring 70K of state property in the governor's mansion as his personal property. Poor bastard.
