i still remember my dad taking me to sandbag during the flood. i thought it went down main street, but i was only 10. i remember crossing over the river on a wooden bridge. isn't that the same year that bangerter bought the big pumps out at the great salt lake?

I went and sandbagged as well - on a Sunday. I always remember it as being State Street but I could be wrong. The floods of 83 prompted the purchase of the pumps but they were actually installed later and were only operated for about a year.

It was both State Street and 13th South.
