This should be the Dems' real concern. The stay home factor. As ER said, it really doesn't matter if the Hillary voters don't cross over (as claimed) and vote McCain. I haven't confused that, don't worry. But I do find your "much, much worse" comment curious. Outside of his support for the war, what is it about McCain that is so "much, much worse" than Hillary?

If anything, he's the most liberal-friendly Republican candidate the party has offered in quite some time.

I didn't say I will stay home. I will vote. I just won't vote for Hillary or McCain. I think voting is an obligation.

Because of his foreign policy stances. I don't think we can afford another bull in the china shop for foreign policy over the next 4 years. The US has already burned enough bridges. Time to engage in some diplomacy (that doesn't involve expelling Russia from the G-8, threatening the Chinese, invading Iran, or staying in Iraq for generations).

I actually agree with Cali. Giving other nations exactly what they want will make us popular with them.

Don't be surprised when the character assassinations start in the next little bit - and these are the type that will make what the Clintons did to Paula Jones and others look like amateur work.
