There is a Catholic church near where I live that had a big sign on it, visible from the highway:

Save Darfur!

I don't know if that was the extent of their advocacy. I doubt it. But I'm glad there are some churches that are willing to stand up to genocide. Not saying every church has to do it. But I'm glad there are churches that feel that is part of their mission.

That makes you feel good, good.

The Roman Catholic Church has 1.1 billion adherents. Do you believe that means its resources are slightly larger than a Church of 13 million? In essence our membership represents slightly more than one percent of the RCC. If one has the ear of one sixth of the world's population, you don't think you might have different options?

You can still make moral stands no matter your size or power. I would think this is a given to all good men and women.

You can, but you must measure them against your size and strength.

If you decided you wanted to become a distance runner and entered every single marathon in the fifty states, on or a race on every single weekend, would you be as successful, than if you picked a few key races and planned for them?

It's noble of you to have made yours on Cougarguard. What courage.

Here's an example:

I think many would argue that the BoM teaches that secret combinations are one of the great forces in the last days that will push the world towards evil.

So, wouldn't it follow that the church would decry and fight (in a moral sense) against secret combinations?

(btw, i don't think gays are the 'secret combination', but what do I know).

Narco states, mafia, corruption. They are rampant in the world.

LOL. From the person with the least courage in the history of CB and CG, who won't even tell us what sex or orientation she/he is, or whether she/he has children or is married.

Sorry, the messenger is deficient in this case.
