If the folks in charge have decided that penalty kicks are the way to go, then that's the way it's done.

It was a great match. Both teams played outstanding defense and I give Spain credit. It's all about not getting eliminated and Italy failed to do that.

I think I'll jump on the Turkey bandwagon now.

I think Spain played great, Italy played their crappy brand of soccer. Faking injuries so advances get stopped and boring people into making a mistake to score a crappy goal.

I am so happy Italy lost.
