I know it is all about the $$$, but the NBA really needs to shorten these series. Starting the playoffs in April and ending them in June loses even the casual fan's interest. Not saying it is unwatchable, but for the finals to potentially end a week before the draft is a little ridiculous.

I thought Kobe fouled Pierce but like DDD said, Pierce didnt protest so it obviously wasnt that bad.

The Celtics are just to much for LA, and LA really needs to work on the defensive end in the offseason. I dont think Bynum solves all of LAs defensive problems like some think.

Oh well. Celtics in six.
The fix was in. This was one game Stern had to influence. He doesn't have to do it very often as 99% of the games are just plain perfunctory. But he wasn't going to let Lakers-Celtics end in five.

On a 1080p 50 inch HDTV from 6 feet, Kobe did get ball.

Interesting, because on my 70 inch 1080p HDTV from 6 feet it was inconclusive.

You were too close. 70 inches from 6 feet starts getting pixelated. Besides, we all know that the ball would squirt out like that if he didn't touch the ball.
