I can never hear anyone say "methinks" and not have Dr. Tobias Fünke be called to mind. In other words, I think is silly and pretentious no matter whose mouth it comes out of.

I think of the Cheers episode wherein Woody corrects Diane by saying, "Excuse me Miss Chambers, but shouldnt it be 'I Thinks?'"
