So you like watching the Red River Shootout as well? It's on October 11, 2008 this year.

I did't peg you for a Sooner fan.

I don't know what that is.

I thought you were a fan of tradition. My mistake.

For uninformed cowpokes, it's the annual shootout at the Texas State Fairgrounds or Cotton Bowl in Dallas between the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at Norman. You may have heard of these two universities before.

Huh. We might be playing one of those Texas schools next year in Laramie, I'll have to check which one.

You play the Horns next year in Laramie, if they don't chicken out, and then in Austin in 2010 and 2012 on a two for one contract.

Colt should be rounding into good form next year. Good luck on that one. Your 2012 nonconference schedule is brutal, Horns and Mizzou in the same month?

RRS history lesson for cowpokes.

Goatnapper: Joe Glenn is the best coach in the country.

Sorry, GN, you did one of those spinning strike outs where the bat ends up in the stands on that one.

I doubt Missouri will remain very competitive much after Chase graduates. Up till a couple of years ago they weren't even bowl eligible.

Baseball ignoramus.

A spinning strikeout ends with the bat at the feet of the batter as he lies in a twisted heap next to the plate. The bat ends up in the stands when the batter is looking for a curveball and the pitcher throws a chest-high fastball.

Don't let Landpoke fool you... He is saving all of his vitriol for the Utah game.

Don't worry landpoke. There is glorified high school in Provo that is 2-0 against the Longhorns. Nothing to worry about.
