you did read the part where he said the Pac 10 has been irrelevant, right? Adding Utah and Colorado does not make them relevant.

And to think, if Utah and Colorado were the two best options out there, the remaining teams must be the scrapes on the bottom of the barrel. It must suck to be one of their fans.

Not the two best programs. Just the best two that fit what the Pac 10 wanted.

Colorado has a terrible program. Bball sucks. Football has some history, but is terrible now. And the rest of the sports--don't even exist, or suck. But they have Denver.

And Utah has SLC.

Some people were born on third base and think they hit a triple, as the saying goes.

Hey Waters, I'll wager you a steak dinner that Utah wins the PAC-10/12 before BYU wins a BCS bowl game. Loser travels to the winner's home and does all of the grilling and the works.

Why would I make that bet? Pac 10 is currently a terrible football (and bball) conference. Easier to go undefeated in Pac 10 than MWC.

Actually, as crappy as the Pac is, I wouldn't be surprised to see Utah win the conference in 2011 and lose its first BCS game. But in basketball Utah might finish last.
