Who was DB Cooper? The name stands out to me as a character in Prison Break, but nothing else off hand.

DB Cooper was a guy who hijacked a flight out of Seattle in the early 70s. IIRC, he had the plane go back to Seattle where he collected a ransom of about $200K and when the plane left again for Mexico - the passengers were still on board as hostages - he jumped out of the plane with a parachute and the money.
They never found him, but it is generally believed that a guy named McCoy who was studying law (or criminolgy) at BYU was DB Cooper. For some reason, McCoy ended up in prison and escaped and was killed in a shootout with police. There's a book called "The Real McCoy" (and I think a movie too) that tells this story and the alleged connection to DB Cooper.

Okay, that's the character supposedly in Prison Break. But his season didn't end too well.
