I haven't really thought too much about jazz, but there are a lot there to choose from. I'd also have to think about classical. WHen I first thoiught about it, I thought of Schubert, but that was the wrong century, I believe. As to Rock/pop, it is kind of hard not to go with Hendrix. He was a greta guitar player, very adept at the blues, and was getting sounfds from his strat that we now take for granted bu which no one had ever heard before him. Hank is also a good one. WHen taking this seriously, it is actually very hard to choose.

Good gracious. Now I'm insulted. What's next? Valens?
I like Holly if for no other reason than he inspired MacLean. I do have his CDs. But he's a little bubble gum and I have to hold the Crickets against him. Anyway, I don't want this to turn into a guessing game. I was curious what you guys thought. Not what you think I think. |
