I went to vote this morning at 7 am, thinking I would beat the rush. Absolute chaos at the polls. Not enough volunteers and the ones they had were completely clueless. Of the 20 machines, only six were turned on and working. And old man was working on machine number 7 for 45 minutes. At least ten people came up and suggested he get the other machines turned on before he fixed that machine. He replied "Maybe those are broken too. Just be patient." Meanwhile, about 200 people had filed into the small room (no one directing lines) so the lines were wound around all of the voting machines. I.e., the 4-5 people lined up by each machine got to watch you vote. Took me one hour to vote.

I had to register at the polls, but they let me back in line so no time lost. 15 minutes total. I did notice the line had grown while I voted. There were probably 25 people waiting as I walked out.

She did the right thing. She said she felt very patriotic today.

I went with Mike after dropping our son off at school. There was not a single person in line in front of me. My daughter was surprisingly cooperative, and when I fed my sheet into the machine, it told me I was only the 157th vote of the day at my polling place.
