You know yesterday when UtahDan made a remark about his brown eyes...the thought ran through my mind "that's more personal information than Tex would ever reveal".

Exactly why is this being turned around as a referendum on my courage? Did I claim to be all that courageous? Did I even mention the word "courage"?

You're missing the point. Again.

My bad. When you used the terms "cowardly" and "cajones" I mistakenly thought you were discussing courage.

Oh, cut the crap, Leb. Do you think it takes more guts to criticize the church with your real name in a newspaper, than anonymously on a message board? I do.

That's all I was getting at. Turning that into an attack on my personal courage (or lack thereof) is completely irrelevant, and specious besides.

I've noticed that no one has addressed my central question:

would you or would you not kill your child if God asked you to.

Of course, I realize why no one wants to answer it.

Sure it does. In some cases it also represents poor judgment.

It just turns my stomach to see you hold up Danzig as a beacon of courage after you have been castigating him so thoroughly.

I am pointing out your hypocrisy. You are the last person to call someone cowardly for posting anonymously.

I don't think he was a beacon of courage. I'm not sure one can call what he did courageous (as in, noble), but it was gutsy. I don't think those are the same thing.

It's not hypocritical if I never claimed to be courageous.

No, I don't think I could do that. And I am quite sure I will never be expected to. I have a tough time believing in a God that would ask me to do evil as a test of my righteousness.

I wonder what Tex's answer would be.

Fair enough. Then what gave you the moral authority to call out the anonymous poster here as cowards?
