OU has to finish playing in a crappy B12 conference, while BYU has SDSU and UNLV games in the future. I can just see pollsters moving BYU up a notch every week with one resounding victory after another. Utah, too.

Does USC play Cal this year? In other words, does the entire conference play every team? I ask because Cal is the only undefeated team remaining in Pac-10 play, and therefore in the drivers seat to the Rose Bowl.

If an at-large selection boils down to USC or Oklahoma, that would be a tough call.

The entire PAC plays each other each year. One of the reasons they dont want to expand.

Under your scenario for an at-large, SC would presumably have to win out (unless you think a 2-loss SC team would be considered for an at-large). If SCt won out, it would win likely the PAC 10, in which case it would not be an at-large team.

But USC wouldn't be an at-large selection. Pac-10 will only get one team this year, presumably USC but not a given. Big 12 will get two: the conference champion and one at-large. If Oklahoma's not the B12 champion, it will not be Oklahoma.
