With TCU leaving the Big East, the conference is down to six and today announced their intent to expand to twelve.

This could bode well for BYU's Big XII hopes, because the Big East expansion will reduce the amount of competition for the final two Big XII spots.

p.s. Big ups to TCU for their undefeated Big East record in all eighteen men's and women's sports, an NCAA first.

BYU will not go to either conference. This is not based on any inside information. It's based on what I perceive as BYU's goals.

Which means in only two years, the MWC's top three football powers have dropped from TCU, Utah and BYU down to San Diego State, Nevada and Colorado State.
