She said it straight to me "I would not have ever said anything to you if I had known you were engaged." She never said anything risque as she was about as straight-arrow as they come.
I had a friend with a similar experience at the U. She came home one day and told me about this cute guy she had been talking to.

A few weeks later she said, "turns out he's married, but doesn't wear his wedding band...that's false advertising!" I found it to be pretty funny.

Wearing a push up or padded bra is false advertising

I think of those bras as a breach of implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. If you know what I mean...

I sorta oppose all bras. Perhaps we should just forbid comely ladies from wearing too much underwear whatsoever. Commando approach being required attire?

A comedian once touched on the subject of wedding rings and women would say..."Well it's an indicator to the opposite sex that you're not available".....to which the comedian says..."Guys,,,,I've been married for 13 years and it doesn't take a ring to tell I'm not available....when I walk around, I've got that hands in my pockets, head down looking at the ground for change look." You don't need to see a ring on my finger to tell I'm not available.

I found that funny and true....having said that during my time of marriage I wore mine just out of habit and respect, because I knew she'd flip if I didn't.

Mrs. Meanie would like to argue your assertion that women do less manual labor than men - at least when the man in comparison is myself.

Manuel labor is the work you pay the illegal to do in your yard.
