I assume she backed off on both the firing and the book ban because she realized that it was a dumbass thing to do.

I have heard that there was a wrongful termination suit that was initiated and that those documents have been sealed. I don't have a solid source on this.

He said selection, not election.

What it comes down to is that Palin is a politician like any other. The record is undeniable.
I think you need to learn to read newspaper reports wiTh a more critical eye. They're even less reliable than police reports. I've been involved as a lawyer in events heavily covered by the media, and had family in the intense public eye, and without exception I'm always astonished at how all they care about is writing something that sells. If they can get any source, regardless of bias or hearsay, truth is not a concern, even for repsected papers. They want to tell you a good story. That's all. They figure out what is the story, then find the sources to support the tale. And they can't be sued because of the First Amendment. I LOVE AMERICA! I truly do.

And you give people shit about wikipedia. Now that Obama has turned you into a rumormonger, you need to turn in your librarian card now.

I'm just playing with you, Seattle.

(I realize you know this, but I'd for the others to think I actually think you're a condescending prick.)

She's his running mate. Hence I'm resolving doubts in her favor.
