The way you responded to Funk's comment sure screamed of pride.
"If your testimony was as solid as mine, you wouldn't worry about assholes like me in the church". I swear, people who are so prideful like that and caused people that I taught on my mission or helped re-activate not want to go to church made me sick. Honestly dude, dispicable. |

Not bad, but you inserted an "as mine" into my line of thinking.
I've honestly never understood people who went inactive because the bishop didn't say hi to them in the halls. That's all. I never referenced my testimony, or said I have never wavered. You assume things that piss you off. More power to you. You seem like an angry person. |

No, the way you said it certainly implied it.
I don't understand why people go inactive for those reasons either. But I don't try to put them down by saying that their testimony is weak either. And yeah, I would get upset about those people who would do that to people I cared about on my mission. Maybe you're the one who reads into things, as this is what I said: "I swear, people who are so prideful like that and caused people that I taught on my mission or helped re-activate not want to go to church made me sick. Honestly dude, dispicable." As far as me being an angry person, normally I'm pretty laid back, like to joke around, etc. Mostly it just makes me sad the state that people like that are in. |

Again, I'm not sure why everyone thinks I act the same towards everyone. I treat people different based on how they act.
I know I should be more charitable, but I'm not. |

Hmmmm.... Let me see if I understand this:
You explicitly stated that your reason for staying here is because you think this is a place where people whine about the church and because mormon liberals bug you. Those are clearly negatives and they are both expressed in a religious context. Thus, the only logical conclusion would be that you are somehow trying to help us see the light. And yet you claim you have no intention whatsoever of "changing anyone". Given the religious undertone of your comments, what exactly is your objective?
