The kind I had was prepared, apparently, by pouring the rum right on top of it. I think my office manager somehow thought it was a big joke to give it to me. It was a good cake, but the rum was honestly too strong for a cake. We didn't end up eating it all, though I don't think it would have been any big deal to.
