Took about 10 seconds to find this link. There are plenty more...

A fan blog? LOL.

Well, you got me there, pardner.

I don't even want to know what you would find after 20 seconds.

Also, we have never had a one-loss non BCS team in the BCS.
Also...there has never been a team with a feline mascot west of the Mississippi in a year divisible by 4 in a BCS game.

We're screwed.

Reductio ad absurdum!

I win. And with that, off to buy some tacos from the street vendors in east LA on my way home from work.

PS you are also wrong

In 2004, Kansas State wildcats played in the fiesta bowl.

Also, the Washington State cougars played in the 2003 rose bowl. You didnt indicate that the number had to be divisible evenly.

Sarcasm FAIL.

Right...these guys are obviously not plugged into the overwhelming financial interest of keeping BYU out of a BCS game.

Of course, it would appear that none of the current voting coaches or Harris poll voters are plugged into this either.

But there's always the...uh...hmmm....wait...who again did your conspiracy involve?

PS...You're still ignoring the argument that no one to this point has demonstrated this strong financial interest of which you speak.

Good thing you've got to get to those tacos...

I disagree. BYU is 8th now, and someone above them will drop in the next two weeks. I don't see a #7 team dropping lower than the 15-17 range after losing a road game to 5-1 TCU.

In terms of legs, looks like you and are the only ones that have them. I appreciate Jay's position, but it is entirely conjecture.

I suppose it could happen that a 1-loss non-BCS team scraps its way back up the polls to claim an at large berth......i can see all the bowl selection committees lining up now....."We will pass on a 2-loss Georgia....a 1-loss USC.....and a 1 loss Ohio State........we would prefer to see BYU play in our bowl game. The BYU that lost to UNLV."
I know and I agree.

Jay has been smoking too much Pineapple Express.

You're still not getting it. The bowl selection committee could be puking at the thought of a #12 ranked BYU team with one loss. But the rules in place would force them to take them. And if the ACC champ falls to 16 or lower, which is very possible, they'd be forced to take a #16 BYU team with one loss.

BYU will not nor will any other Non-BCS Team ever be included into a BCS Game with 1 loss.

Until PROVEN otherwise and it actually HAPPENS then get back to me then with an "I told you so."
Does Notre Dame count as a non-BCS team in this argument?

Because it's quite believable for Notre Dame to go to a BCS game, even with a loss, and it's not part of any BCS conference.
