We had a talk like that in our ward recently. I believe it started out something like, "While I was on my mission I was fortunate enough to be called into a leadership position that allowed me to travel to all areas in the mission, and work with the other missionaries..."

no doubt so humble that he didn't wish to say that he was A.P.

Another common rephrasing of the AP announcement:"While I was in my mission I had the chance to work closely with my Mission President, and I something I learned from him was that . . ."

Brother, Sister, Bishop, President.

Gary and Saundra are good enough.
I call my bishop Steve.
I tell my seminary kids to call me Russell. No Brother in it and they feel better than calling me Dave.

Every mission has at least one. Unfortunately for me, I seemed to always end up with one of them.

what's a traveling elder? is it a ZL?
all the ZLs traveled, in that they visited each district for a day. was there more to it? a single holy one who went about doing grooviness?
