I'm certainly not willing to give up on Nevill yet. He had a double double despite foul trouble and being double teamed on every touch. If Romar thought enough of him to double team him, then I can't imagine he's as horrible as some are purporting him to be. I also don't think that most of the teams we play will be as aggressive defensively against him as Washington was. The in your face "6 inch" defense reminded me of how the refs let Banks and Blassingame play at UNLV.
Most teams on the schedule won't be able to afford letting Nevill pass to a wide open Weigh or Bryant out of the double team.

And yet today, Greece is little more than a big historical amusement park. Sadly, there are no beaches on the east bench of SLC.

Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!! Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith. |
