This is actually a more significant point than you realize. One reason that women with sexual hang-ups overreact to their husband's masturbation, or playboy subscription, or whatever, is because they know that they are not meeting their husbands' needs, but they hate to be confronted with that fact. There's guilt there. Then of course there's their own latent sexual frustrations, too, and you put it all together and the women lash out.
