Why hide it? What you're advocating is pure socialism....only under a different name. How convenient. Who stops this train once it starts? Or do we get to have the acquaintance of or buddies Stalin and Lenin.

By the way, any of you all advocating so strongly for this Obama culture ever visit the soviet union in it hay day? Damn, probably not.
You are following the intellectually lazy argument that any government social program is equivalent to pure socialism/communism, ala the John Birch Society. Good luck with that.

So one's opinion on the topic is only valid if one has actually set foot in the USSR during its prime?

Do we get to discount all of your theories on Iraq or Afghanistan on the same basis?

Notice the increase when Obama considers running for President.

I'll give you that--that is pretty disappointing.

Correct but Obama's argument of coerced compassion or whatever he calls it is bothersome.

No, but it sure helps to gell what we're talking about. You don't think American's in general have a pretty myoptic view of how the world works? We don't even have an accurate assessment of what the word POOR means. Or are you thinking we have the ultimate definition?

Theories on Iraq and Afghanistan?????????

But I didn't say ANY did I? The Robin-Hood method of dictating social programs can be taken at face value. Sure you will need some programs. Just not every program.

I guess neighborly is only dependent on which end of the gun you're on.

In terms of education and international experience, I don't think the folks in this debate represent your typical American. Hence, the "Have you ever been in the USSR?" approach is not going to carry your argument.

So what you're saying is that Social experience has no value. You really believe that? Or were our revolutionary forefathers just a bunch of ass-holes?
