To us folks in the mission field who have virtually no contact with any apostles, and for whom a visit by a 70 (whom we often have never heard of) to reorganize a stake is a big deal.....

....the decision on who is in the FP is something so distant, so inconsequential, as to not even be worth discussing. I bet most adults in my ward wouldn't have been able to correctly identify Faust as being in the FP.

I image the feeling is very different in the intermountain west where personal connections to GAs are much stronger.

Maybe for Mormon royalty in SLC, Bountiful and Provo, but otherwise it's about the same as it would be for any other member.

Here is what a meltdown looks like.

You didn't even get a suspension for that did you. I will bet Pete or Thibious even sent you a get out of jail free card for that one.

My guess is it is NOT Packer.

You wouldn't select an elderly acting President of the Twelve as a counselor. I submit it will be somebody much younger, but otherwise I have no idea.

Lingo seems like he finds more joy in looking for heretics than he would finding converts.

It's certainly EASIER to find the former than the latter.

Put another way, Lingo would have more joy in excommunicating or condemning members than baptizing new members.

You forgot to mention how I enjoy torturing people.

Long memory there, grandpa. Thibious gave me a get out of jail free card, but Pete tried banning me for a month.

Just what I love about CG. Intellectual. Elevated. Cerebral. Tolerant.

Yes, this is why many of us came here instead of CB. Elevated discourse that is more intellectual and tolerant.
