Both have/had beautiful wives while being extraordinarily ugly themselves (One of my favorite SNL weekend updates moment was a quick cut to a photo of Ocasek while the announcer says "Gee Ric, why the long face?"). The difference is that Ocasek earned his by writing, singing, perfroming and prodcuing some very good 70s and 80s music, while Ringo earned his by being nearby when Pete Best was fired. Ringo, quite frankly, was awful but was lucky in a 'Being There' sort of way. So I have to choose Ringo as the luckier guy.
