No, that is a cop out. You said the TEXT must provide for a qualifier. You agreed other amendments do have qualifiers. Show me the text that provides the qualifier in the 1st Amendment. If you can't, then you must agree that qualifiers are implicit.

This isn't semantics, it is simply rational. I think we both know it.

I do feel a bit bad, after multiple pages of discussion, for the cheap shots I have taken. You get so darned emotional and rabid/irrational in discussing this topic that pushing you towards the edge seemed both easy and amusing. Waters is two seconds away from joining Tex's compound about now.

Comments like "conservatives must be soft if they need automatic guns for protection" were so clearly attempts at trolling I thought for sure it would be transparent, but apparently not.

I respect your rights and the rights of all Americans. But I strongly disagree with your interpretation of what rights the 2nd Amendment grants. We won't agree. We don't need to. But I shouldn't have pushed like I did.
