The actual University of Hawaii that produces the football team has 14k undergraduates.

No one cares about the numbers of students in a system. Since a system is made up of numerous universities and colleges.

For example the University of Texas system has 141k students, and includes 4 different medical schools, and has an endowment of 13 billion.

Exactly my point. So why not the slightest, not a smattering of interest expressed in BYU? They don't like BYU. It's subjective and personal. It's easy to see.

There has been a smattering of interest from the Pac 10. The Pac 10 recently contacted Holmoe.

I don't believe there's ever been interest. Please give me places, times, who said what to whom.

Pac 10 contacted BYU and said "If you are considering doing anything about this mtn mess, don't do anything that would prevent you from being able to accept an invite."

You just turned SU's world upside down. Imagine how he'll feel on judgment day.

There has been and there is. That doesn't mean there might not be those who object for personal reasons, but you're deceiving yourself if you believe there is no interest. I'm uncertain if there is sufficient interest to overcome the objectors. My contacts within the system are insufficient for me to draw a meaningful conclusion.

Moreover, who's "Pac 10" and "BYU." A couple of Mormon guys who work for the Pac 10 and BYU yacking after elder's quorum one day?

This alleged vote was confirmed by Tom Holmoe, who, if memory serves me correctly, was a head coach at some school in the Pac 10. Can't remember which one. I think it was one of the hyper elistist snobby ones, though...
