Default Running while sick (cold)...

what do most of you guys do when you get a cold or get sick? I had a cold for the last couple of weeks and I ran every morning. I thought it was gone but it came back so I took a couple of days off of running to get it through my system.

What do you guys do, recommend?

I will run or work out if I have a cold. I don't know if that is recommended. But I think if it's mostly in your head and not your chest and you're not running a fever, you're OK. You probably don't want to push it too hard though when you're sick.

I know if I go swimming with a cold, it tends to clean out the mucus. Nice thought I know. But getting the circulatory system working as long as you don't fatigue seems to be a good idea.

This is how a cold can go from a simple cold to bronchitis or pneumonia if you're not careful.

Workout with a cold but don't with the flu is what I've heard. I actually feel better when I go indoors with a cold and spin. My head clears up and it pushes plenty of liquid through my body.
