Default Wind is not your friend

We had a wicked weekend planned, but then nature intervened and we pansie wimped out.

We had a glorious day of cycling planned, but when we awoke, we found winds whipping up beyond imagination. I saw cyclists literally lifted off the ground and placed across the road. I led the first half of the ride and was promptly dropped when the twos said bye-bye.

What was to be a eighty mile ride, turned into a lousy forty miles.

Made up for it, with a little seventy mile ride.
