I first came to Cougarboard expecting to dislike everyone there. Every last BYU fan. Funny thing, I grew to like some of them including the founding members of this board. Now I think I probably dislike most over on CB, but occasionally they show up here, and I think, "I don't like him." Some I very quickly see that I do like after all, such as Flystripper, or Sooner or YOhio. Others, I keep not liking for awhile, but after they spend some time here I usually decide I like them after all, at least some facet. This happened with Tex, Rocky, DJRoss and others. I don't like exUte yet. I think I mostly don't like Lingo either. But we'll see. I usually find something to like in most people.

I don't know ex-Ute. I disagree with a lot of things he says. His message board style is not one I care to use. But were I to meet him, I would probably get along with him fine, as I would with most people on this board, or Cougarboard, or Utefans for that matter. It's easier to hate someone on a message board than in real life.
Or maybe I am overanalyzing the question. |
