I enjoyed the thematic elements of 1408. I thought it was effectively creepy.

I rented Mr. Brooks and will watch that over the next few days...and while at Circuit City the other day I saw the original Halloween for 6 bucks so I bought it and will watch that Halloween night.

Disturbia wasn't that scary, most of the movie was a teen romance. But we had just watched 28 Weeks Later, and I was not in the mood for any sort of gore or violence after that.

I saw Mr. Brooks in the theater with the wife and found it to be horrible. Costner should have retired after Field of Dreams.

It was terrible. I've made it a point from this moment on to never watch any movie that has Dane Cook in it.
