I would suggest an 80's dace party. In no particular order.

Breakin
Footloose
Flashdance
Dirty Dancing

While I am extremely disappointed to not see Better Off Dead on that list, my votes go for Goonies and Top Gun. Unless you prefer a lame party - then go with Waters' suggestions.

How could you leave Strange Brew off your list?!?

I'd go with Strange Brew and ET.

Ever since I joined this board I think landpoke is f-ing hilarious, but this is a party, Man from Snowy River isn't exactly going to foster the "running man" vibes.

One of my favorite 80's movies is probably the most underrated Abrahams/Zucker movie ever: Top Secret! Hilarious.

You should also have Weird Science on that list.

Is Top Secret the John Travolta film where they make that giant jiffy pop thing at the end?

No, that;s real genius with Val Kilmer.

Top Secret is Val Kilmer against the Germans as Nik Rivers, the famous American vocalist for tunes such as Skeet Surfin and Skeetin USA.
