Default "Bronco has turned the honor code into a strength of the program"

True or false. I heard this from a fan.

He says in the past violations caused severe embarrassment, etc. Now it has become a strength of the team.

I had to bite my tongue and not mention all the recent HC violations that resulted in law enforcement involvement.

It's amazing what you can sell and buy these days.

There is no doubt that his PR campaign of LDS values, use scriptural analogies and firesides, etc. has been a smashing success with key boosters and the BofT; and having happy key boosters and a happy BofT strengthens the program.

False. Without the HC, Bronco could turn this into a better program.

False.

That statement completely fails to take into account those in power who treasure PR more than wins and losses.

No Honor code = No magic.

Despite your staunch defense of Crowton, you are salvageable.

Not sure if that's totally true. And even if true, the $ and the joy for the boosters and fan base, and national recognition of BYU and the church that comes with winning might offse it.

Losing + bad PR = really grumpy BOT

Winning + bad PR probably OK

There wasn't anything like that in 1996. There was stuff before and after, but 1996 was a pretty quiet year.

If you had another SexGate 1 & 2 this year, especially after what happened in 2004, the program would be on very perilous ground.
