Nope. Full House wins by a nose. Even more tortuous. Unless you count the theme songs, in which case Fresh Prince might (MIGHT) take top honors. |

I am going to give the edge to Fresh Prince on this one because Full House was intended for children. Fresh Prince was intended to be kind of a cutting edge, fish out of water thing. It also seemed to have hipster inclinations, but of the lamest progeny.
Of course, Full House was probably just as lame, but now Bob Saget does dirty jokes which makes it funny in retrospect. This and the aforementioned theme song detract from is horribility or horrificity. |

Sounds reasonable. Of course, Full House gave us the dreaded Olsen Twins. You've gotta factor that in. What about Family Matters? Wonder whatever happened to this guy: |

The floodgates have opened and the memories of sitcoms are pouring out:
What's Happening? The Greatest American Hero Good Times One Day at a Time Mork and Mindy Bosom Buddies The Addams Family Mr. Ed Hazel My Favorite Martian Dusty Trails The Jeffersons Chico and the Man The Flying Nun Gidget That Girl Head of the Class Different Strokes Here's Lucy The Beverly Hillbillies I didn't necessarily like all of the above, but once my memory starts, I have a tough time slowing it down.

There are two sitcoms that I can't believe made nobody's list:
Leave it to Beaver McHales Navy Though neither of these made my top ten, they were both classic shows and should be on somebody's list.

LITB makes my list. I only named what I felt were the best from each decade. I have never seen McHales Navy, it never made the rerun circuit where I lived.

Try it as (youtube)url(/youtube) with brackets [] instead of parentheses. Just like Mike taught me.
