Films with vivid descriptions of eating
I'm looking for films that have vivid descriptions of eating. My students are trying to write video documentaries on the food at the Student Union and I'm hoping to show them examples of eating being described with active verbs and so on.
Backstory: I asked a colleague this question and he recommended a scene in the film 9 1/2 weeks. I hadn't seen the film and knew basically nothing about it. Stupidly, I bought it for $4 when at the store. All I can say is "oops."

Not making an excuse. Just decrying my own stupidity.

Of course! I think I've heard of this. Doesn't it take place in Denmark or something?

Like Water for Chocolate (I have only read the book but I assume the movie would have plenty of descriptions of food.)

The Sopranos. Much of the dialog in the series took place over food. At Tony's house, at Satriale's, his friend's Italian restuarant, etc. I seem to recall reading something by the writers that they purposefully used food extensively. I just can't remember why. Maybe they just wanted to push sales of this:
