I found some of these pictures over on bikeforums, so I can only assume that these are actual shots from the course. If so, it would be an amazing course.



















This may not actually be on the course, but how would you like to ride in that crap.

Given that profile I gather they have a lead in and then a circuit of some sort? The air looks horrible althougm, to be fair, some (only some) of that might just be humidity.

I'm sure you are right on both accounts.

It looks like a circuit, although I haven't looked at a map yet.

I'm sure much of the haze is humidity.

"When we got off the plane we immediately noticed the pollution," added Valverde. "I can't say too much (about the course) because we haven't seen it yet. But from what I hear it's going to be quite challenging. Also, because of the heat, humidity and pollution, it is going to be very demanding".
