Armstrong coming back......
He will ride in the 2009 Tour De France. Someone should let him know that drug testing is very stringent these days. This has all the makings of another Roger Clemens or Barry Bonds story the ego is getting the best of him.

Holy Shizz. This is unreal. I'm beyond curious to see how this goes.

Man, Astana is going to be full of GC contenders. I imagine that LA is clean or he would not come back with all that is going on.

Here's another link:
http://www.velonews.com/article/8289...ng-coming-back This is very curious. My guess is that he is not going to ride for victory. The article says he is going to continue to do mountina biking and cyclo-cross whic is not the recipe for a successful run at Le Grand Boucle, especially at the age of 37. Moreover, I suspect Contador and even Leipheimer would not be too exicted at the prospect of, oncea agin, being 2d or 3d fiddle to his bony butt. Time will tell, but my guess is if he comes back he will do so as some sort fo super domestique. I do nto think this will be like Bonds or Clemens, btw. No one has ever doubted that Armstrong is the absolutely perfect physical specimen to race bikes. Thus, if the sport is celan and he is clean, then he should still do well, allowing for his age and diverted focus. If the sport is NOT clean, then he can cheat with the rest and still do reasonably well. I thinbk it very unlikely that he would suddenly be caught. I think it more likely that he races clean (if this is even true) and that he races in support and thgat he does well but is nowehre near as dominant as he was, as even LA gets old. Facinating stuff. I am going to register to volunteer in the Tour of California now, just in case.

How pathetic.
This guy will do anything to get Sheryl Crow back. It's over Lance. Move on.

He's not doing it for the glory, he's not doing it for the money, I think he just loves to compete and ride. It's to hard to do if you don't love it. I think it's pretty cool.
