Default Sophisticated analysis of broken axel

Why did my axle break?

I dunno, you either used too much force or there was a flaw in the axel.

Let's go with, I don't know my own strength and used too much force.

Okay, we'll go with that one.

And sorry about screwing up your ride. So I get a free new axle but no new positioning in the race, dang it all.

I recall that if your quick release wasn't fully set in the outs, meaning it was stressed at an angle, so to sepak, you make it much more likely the axle will break.

I'll have to check that, but I've used these so often I don't think that was the problem but who knows now.
