No it's simply a translation of the feminine word, la persona, so the pronoun relates to the word, not the actual gender of the person referred to.

THis is what I meant:

It's because it's referring to "la persona", and the pronoun is consistent with the feminine noun even though the person is actually male. As best I understand Spanish, and I'm a plebeian in this language, it's simply proper grammar and a place where the online
translators suck.
