Default Used 54cm Road Bike Wanted

Mrs. Hippie is looking to buy somebody's old beater bike. Pretty much any old road bike will do...

If any of you club riders have a friend with something around a 54" sitting around the garage that they are looking to dump, let me know.

I should be clear... Mrs. Hippie is on a bare bones budget. She's not allowed to get anything better than my 91 Trek so she's looking in the low hundreds range.

We've got an old 52cm (I think) frame. Down-tube shifters, 7-speed, Peugeot. Want it?

If it has two wheels and it will fit her I think we're interested. How much would you want for it?

Nothing. It's free. Years ago I helped a friend find and buy it at a bike swap; she later moved and gave it to my wife. Wife bought a new bike this spring.
