Something has happened. And finished.

Like timbers of Chestnut, before the blight; forests of pine, before the beetle. When the giants roamed the earth, before they laid their bones in stone. When the hive was strong. And the flowers unfurled. And honey fell from our lips.

Sun on me, night come, moon witness, stars forget. We die. But not now.

I am strong. And not finished.
