Saw it on Friday night and really enjoyed it.

Yes it has some cliches in it like any underdog sports movie, but overall I thought it was really well done with a great message.

What position did you play?

I was a wing/5/8s at BYU second and third string, meaning I was lousy compared to the Kiwis, Polys and Aussies.

I played prop my first year and my next two years I played 8 man. I would have played at the U but alas I had to work while in School.

Oh so you are good. I learned it in college finding it fun but that I would never make the starting A team.

I never said I was any good. I'm a proud killer B (B sider). I did however play a good portion (didn't start) of two High School National championship games.

You undoubtedly were better than I. I still remember my first contact in my first match. Opponent had the ball, was about 6'1" 210, I unwittingly took a football attack, driving my shoulder into his gut, dislodging it of course, but discovering, you need to wrap and roll, not act like a bullet. It is a wonderful, but vicious game. Saw so many broken noses.
