Default Unlike CB, Sex is not taboo here, nor should it be

in your home.

One would hope we won't post porn, but reasonable discussions about a topic that affects most everyone should not be taboo.

I heard Orson Scott Card say (or maybe it was in an essay he wrote) that there are three primary themes to life, and therefore in his fiction. Sex was one of them. Unfortunately, the other two don't come to mind.

so sex is catchy, eh?

It is a primordial drive of life, to sustain life. Without it, no life would exist. Is it any wonder we are interested in one of our primary drives?

Funny, my primary drive is 140 gigs.

You are talking about computers, no? (I would have said "hard drive" but it was too much of a double entendre even for me.)

Sex as a primary theme?!?!?!?

That's it, I'm sending in my letter this week.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins. Of all religions that I know, the one that most vehemently and persuasively defies and denies the reality of death is the original Mormonism of the Prophet, Seer and Revelator, Joseph Smith.
