so does anybody ever feel
numb to everything?
Ten thousand screaming morons just blew themselves up in Iraq today. Oh. Junior just failed remedial math. Great. I'm leaving and I've emptied the bank accounts, you owe me everything. Knock yourself out. You've got cancer and two weeks. Gee so long? Not meaning to be so cheery, but does sometimes the panoply of life and world event numb you to the point where one is beyond feeling? So many things come so fast that you emotions no longer can keep up, so they don't?

I hope your choice of Cap'n Crunch...
also contains crunchberries. It'd be a shame if you weren't a cold cereal connoiseur.

I can't get crunch berries up north here, only the original
Also, corn pops are much different here than the corn pops in the states. They are round little honey covered balls of corn, and not nearly as good as the original American corn pops. And what's even more strange is Apple Jacks are often sold for a limited time only??? |

It sounds like you need to lead...
a good ol' fashioned revolt. Get the citizens in a state of unrest - and not the civil unrest. The flat out ready to riot unrest.
How can you possibly survive in such primitive conditions?

lack of certain cereals darn near caused the end of this whole living in Canada experiment ... couple it with the fact that milk is sold by the litre and in bags that you must place in a plastic pitcher and I was ready to return to the land of gallons of milk and oodles of crunch berries.
Of course my wife was six months pregnant at the time we moved here and if we returned to the states, despite having student Blue Cross coverage, we would have had to pay close to $4,000 out of pocket for medical expenses related to the birth  In Canada the birth was free! Each time I whine about the lack of crunch berries my wife reminds me of that one conversation with the hospital in Utah that recommended we get a loan to cover the cost of having our first child ... I don't miss crunch berries that much  |
