Default Sopranoes episode (slight spoiler)

It's funny, almost nothing happened, in terms of driving the arc forward.

Yet, you know as you are watching that you are seeing something special. Great acting. The monopoly scene in the lake house.

Dread and anxiety riddled throughout.

Really this has to be the best show ever on Television. There are many great shows, especially of yesteryear, that I have never seen.

But it is hard for me to imagine that they could be written and acted better than the Sopranos.

I've always been a fan of morality plays. Where people have to make difficult choices, and then live with them. Or die with them. I don't root for the Sopranos, or root for their way of life, like some might. It's not about that, for those of you who haven't seen it.

If any of you decide to start from Season 1, I recommend that you not do it until you are at a point where you have a lot of disposable time.

Dang. I have to wait for the DVD release. This is going to be tough.

I agree with you. It's hard to imagine a better show. Fascinating how you can care for the characters and despise them at the same time. Or flip back and forth. I can't wait to see how it all wraps up.

Why do you have to wait for DVD? Because you can't/won't get HBO?

Big Love's only sin was being boring. Man was it boring. I did my best to try and like it.

Agreed. There's a free preview for HBO on Dish right now and I tried watching Big Love the other day and it took about 5 minutes for me to know that it wasn't for me. No need for Somonex at my house.
