Default BSA to allow girls to join

This is something that I support. It makes scouting more family friendly.

The question is how the church leaders view this and what this means for the future of scouting in the church. It's getting to the point where I don't think I even care what the church does about scouting. Sad for me to say.

Just read that the LDS church scouting programs will not include girls. I expected that. It would be too much to hope for or expect. Honestly I don't think that LDS women (the adults) would support the program. It asks too much and they wouldn't want to do it.

It doesn't appear that there are immediate plans to jettison scouting altogether.
